YSLG Chairmanship : Meet Shinkafi ,More Aspirants to Feature

Hon Taiwo Jimoh (Shinkafi) was born over four decades ago to the family of Mr and Mrs Jimoh Balogun at State Hospital Ilaro, Yewa South. He attended Ahmadiya primary school, Ilaro-Yewa and Egbado College, Ilaro. He furthered his tertiary education at Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke, where he bagged both his ND and HND in Mechanical Engineering. He is married and blessed with children.
His political careers in Yewa South, Ogun West and in Ogun State started in


1990 from NRC party (National Republic Convention). He held Local Government Ex officio from 1990 – 1993. In 1990-1991, he was the Local Government Coordinator for S. O. A. Bankole for governor. In 1992 he was Ogun West Coordinator in NRC for Alhaji Umar Shinkafi Choice 1992, where he got his nick name (Shinkafi). At UNC party (United National Congress), he was one of the state coordinators. In UNCP he held the post of Assistant state treasurer. In PDP, he was a state party delegate from 2001 to 2003. At ANPP, he contested for the Chairmanship post in Yewa South Local Government in 2007. He was in SIA group as Ogun West Coordinator. He was also the Local Government coordinator of Amosun’s ambition in Yewa South in ANPP. In ACN, he was a member of Yewa South Local Government Adviser Committee to the governor. In APC, he was the zorganizing Secretary of Buhari /Osinbajo Campaign Organizations, Ogun State chapter. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Zinnat Nigeria Technical Company Limited. Shinkafi is a business man and also a grassroots politician from his home town to the State.
